Your first Elevated bet
You don't need to know any terms yet. A table tennis match is played in sets (short games). You just follow these steps, in order.
- 1
Wait for Set 1 to finish.
Don't bet before the match starts. Don't bet during Set 1.
- 2
Look at who LOST Set 1.
That player is the one you bet on.
- 3
Open your sportsbook.
Find the same match: same two player names.
- 4
Find the Set 2 Winner market.
It may be called Set 2 Winner, Set 2 Moneyline, or similar wording.
- 5
Bet the Set 1 loser to WIN Set 2.
Use the amount shown on the play (the Units tab works it out for you).
Set 2 is over. Did your bet win?
✓Yes, it won
STOP.
You're done. Don't bet Set 3.
✕No, it lost
- 7
Bet the same player to win Set 3: that's the Recovery.
Every official play includes it. Use the Recovery amount on the card.
- 8
Wait for the Set 3 market.
Back the same player (the Set 1 loser) to win Set 3.
- 9
After Set 3 the play is finished, win or lose.
No Set 4. No 'make it back' bets.
!Common mistake
Betting before Set 1 is finished. You don't know who to bet on until Set 1 ends. Wait for it.
That's the whole system: wait for Set 1, bet the loser to win Set 2, stop if it wins. If it loses, back the same player in Set 3. The next lesson shows it with real names.
